Update: food was good, but took forever to come out. And they are the only restaurant I've ever been to that charges 2.5% for using a card.We weren't expecting much from this boardwalk restaurant. But the service was great, the food was really good and came out fast, and prices weren't crazy high. Request the sit upstairs. There is a really nice bar area with tables and nice views.

The atmosphere was nice.. Drinks were great

Personally I believe the best food on the Wildwood boardwalk. Great drinks and a notch above the typical bar fare.

I came there for my birthday July 22nd 2020. Was very disappointed. I had been there in the past and loved it. Wait staff was ignorant. Wouldnt let us put tables together for a group of 5 was forced to sit at an outdoor table for 4. They said they cant put tables together for covid but usually restaurants want us to be further apart. They didnt have accommodations if it rained and it started to down pour so we took cover in the closest space they had which was where their wait staff uses and we were told we cant stand there. I understand its gov murphy doesnt want you to have indoor seating but they should have better accommodations depending on the weather. We were asked if we wanted to stay and eat and we said no to put in boxes. I also ordered bacon mac and cheese and they gave me mac and cheese bacon burger. Very very very disappointed.

Crab cake sandwich is awful! Do not get it. However service is good and Mac n cheese was good good beer and nachos. Philly chicken cheesesteak was yummy too. Just do not order crab cake yuck!

Went here on a whim because I heard so many good things about it. Food was delicious, service was great, and the menu selection was simple yet unique. Fried pickles were amazing, and they make pretty good crabcakes as well. Would recommend here for anyone else looking for a nice tropical setting and rooftop dining.

Ended up having perfect seats. Place was clean,server was pleasant and attentive, food was priced well, and was tasty. Would definitely go back. Very simple menu, and good for large groups.

Great spot on Wildwood's boardwalk. Very good beer selection, the food is great, and the people are awesome. Makes for an excellent choice for a meal while you're here.

A nice restaurant on the boardwalk. An inviting atmosphere. It gets crowded, so get there early.

The fried pickles were good as well as the watermelon crush. All else was not worth the stopIn. Pulled pork sliders blah the fries that were cooked were good but most seemed to be still raw. Plus they add a % to your bill when using a credit card. With that said the server got less of a tip, although our server seemed like she’d like to be anywhere but work.

Had a House salad with a crab cake on it. Delicious!

Let's just say this. if you come here and expect their food to be amazing, don't come here. I had got the chicken and it was dry and warm. i could tell it had been sitting for a little while. thats probably why our food came out so fast. but it did taste pretty good. also the staff are really nice. we were in the sun and we had asked if we could get a different table, and they got us a new table instantly. The place also looks good to, if your on the top floor you have a good view of the ocean. but the chairs could be a little better. in my opinion, i probably wouldn't come here again.

Excellent drinks and food! Capt'n Colada and coconut shrimp are the best! Wednesday they have 50 cent wing's. Open deck and a lot of tv's.

Good fish tacos. Tuna was not overcooked, seasoned fries were tasty. Fishbowl drink wasn't bad either!

The food was very good. I got the Mahi fish.

Try the pulled pork sandwich paired with the Cape May IPA! Those Old Bay fries go good with everything and the beachfront vibe and fun and friendly staff have kept us coming back year after year. Open again after quarantine and tasting better than ever! Show love for your local boardwalk businesses this summer!

Great place to go on boardwalk for good mixed drinks.

Nothing special about the food, the drinks are definitely the draw here so if you're not looking to drink, it's mediocre. Pricy but expected given that it's on the boardwalk. Overall good atmosphere with a nice view of the beach from the deck, but the food isn't too exciting.

Was on vacation and kept walking past Capt’n Jacks and when I saw the fishbowl I knew I had to come inside! Food was great. They even had a live musician playing too. Highly recommended to at least stop in. You will not be disappointed!

Another spot that I will definitely come back to!!We went and grab food and drinks here after we did the go-karts and before we head back to jersey city. The bartender (sorry I forgot to get her name) was very pleasant, accommodating and will really give you "good vibes". The servers were very polite. All my questions were answered properly (yes I ask so much questions). So if you want that good vibes, chill ambiance and just sit and sip this is the place to be!

Capt'n Jack's is one of the best restaurants located on the boards. The recently expanded 2nd floor is much needed and welcomed. The food here is really good, ranging from apps to sandwiches to entrees, you can easily find something in this menu. I really like their wings and sandwiches. Their drink menu is on another whole level with tons of beers, frozen drinks and you MUST try a Fishbowl. Trust me, you won't be sorry, yes the price is a little expensive but split between two or three guests and it's perfect.

People here dont care too much about service. Just your money

Went for happy hour, ordered off of the happy hour menu, and when I paid the bartender said they "aren't sure if they're doing happy hour". Was charged double what I should have been.

My family and I came here on a weekend vacation. We all ordered different dishes and we were all dissatisfied. I ordered the fish tacos and my tacos tasted like they were made with tunafish. I also ordered for myself a strawberry mule and it tasted like only syrup. My mother ordered the Mac and cheeseburger and she had to send back the whole meal. I do not recommend this establishment

This place is very relaxing and the drinks are great. Good place to hide out from teenagers on the boardwalk and grab a refreshing beverage

Excellent food and service. Great view of the ocean and Boardwalk. Try the Fish Tocos and Crab cakes, you can't go wrong!!

We ate in the front open area ( during pandemic)- not the restaurant north, but more south (new?) (by an indoor "mall"). Not only were the fish tacos and caribbean salad good, but we mainly wanted to make note of our amazing server: "Kevin" was running and running, upstairs and downstairs, handling table orders, front takeout, everything. It was extremely busy, but he was on top of everything, so hard working, good natured, and an excellent asset to this place- which we hope he will be recognized for. He deserves it.

It's an okay place to eat on the boardwalk. They tried to seat us outside we agreed provided it was shaded they sat us in full sunlight. Thankfully we were able to be moved inside where there were plenty of open seats. The margarita pizza sauce was nothing more than tomato paste. The Mac n cheese had a strong taste. The service was good, the beverages were good. If we were to eat there again it would be without the kids.

The best place I eat at on the boardwalk. Excellent service on a busy day, delicious food, and the menu is fun. The perfect amount of variety for food and drinks. I recommend eating upstairs on the deck outside. Decent view of the beach/pier.

We had Happy Hour margaritas (a really good deal!) and pretty decent boardwalk food. The tables were well spaced apart outside, but some staff had their masks below their nose.

Very good food, pretty good service, weird drink cups but thats about it. Everything was very good though, and the atmosphere was great.

Our daughter came here a week ago and told us how great the place was. Nice breeze on the upper deck. Great tasting food for being on the boardwalk and NOT as pricey as Joe Fish Co. near by. I ordered the Texas Burger and the wife had the Island Quesadillas. We loved the drink - Dirty Banana. - ** 5 Stars **

When I went here on Vacation I ordered a hot dog but waited around 20 minutes with no food and when I got my food I regreted coming I liked the design of the place but that was all so I would not come here I would just admire it

Some stuff was pretty good but the crab cake was not good at all.

Good Spot that provides good views, good drinks and good food. With that said they need to get rid of the Mac n Cheese on the Menu. Not good at all so dont order it. The Pina Cola drink was amazing. So Good. The rest of the food was average. Service was good. Wasnt aweful, wasn't great. Was a good experience and I would go back again.

One star for the view.. zero for the food. Terrible menu, below average food at best. I do not reccomend and will not be back. Plus, 18% gratuity for 6 or more in a party, what a joke. You robbed your waitress of any sort of tip with that gouging.

The food had no special flavors for the prices that are being paid. The coconut shrimp were black from the dirty fryer grease. Had we been dining in I would have gone into the kitchen and shown the cook how it should be done. I am a classically trained Executive Chef on vacation and I thought I had finally found a great restaurant on the WW boardwalk. This place can be great why settle for subpar? I did take photos if you would like to see them.

hmm. where do i start? well first of all our server wasn’t the most patient with us and also wasn’t that friendly. then one of our meals was completely wrong, asked for extra crispy wings and they came out undercooked with no sauce. my salad tasted sour but i was starving so it was still edible. and to top it all off my friend ordered mac and cheese as an easy snack and now she has food poisoning. if i could rate this restaurant 0 stars i would.
